The Baie-Saint-Paul area has developed an integrated tourism product focused on art and culture. The presence of the Centre d'art and the Centre d'Exposition de Baie-Saint-Paul, as well as some 20 art galleries, complemented by events such as the Symposium of Young Canadian Painters and Rêves d'Automne as well as the area's growing role as an arts and culture resort form the key structural components setting the pace of tourism growth in this area. The renovation and attractive redevelopment of the centre of Baie-Saint-Paul have solidified the emergence of this cultural centre as a destination.This area is one of the most important cultural centres in Quebec.

The Ile aux Coudres area has long been famous as a vacation destination. The presence of a major hotel infrastructure and marketing of the island’s unique attractions, such as its friendly inhabitants, regional folklore, a very strong history and significant seafaring heritage, combined with a host of outdoor activities, including bicycling, and outstanding performance in the group travel market, are the main characteristics of tourism in this area. A dynamic local industry is also important, as demonstrated by the establishment in recent years of the Société des entreprises touristiques de l'Ile aux Coudres (SETIAC) to coordinate local tourism activities.

Parc des Hautes-Gorges--de-la-Riviere-Malbaie

Parc des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie is one of Québec's most beautiful natural monuments. It was named after a series of valleys cut deep into a range of high mountains. Mounts Élie and Jérémie (both 1,045 m high) and Montagne des Érables (1,030 m) dominate Lac Noir, Ruisseau du Pont, and the Malbaie and Martres river valleys. Steep slopes, beautiful natural surroundings, and the unusual course of Rivière Malbaie make this site unique in Eastern Canada.

Saint-Siméon, Baie-Sainte-Catherine
In recent years, the Estuary area has developed a tourism industry based on whale-watching cruises (more than 275,000 visitors a year), nature interpretation (with facilities at Port-au-Saumon and Pointe-Noire), and development of hunting, fishing and outdoor activities available from nearby outfitters. The presence of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park and the Saint-Siméon and Baie-Sainte-Catherine ferries also confirms the area’s marine role. This destination is growing in popularity, especially among European visitors, while proximity to the tourism centre of Tadoussac adds to the region’s strategic attractions.

Parc National de Forillon

Forillon National Park stretches over 244 km2 on the eastern tip of the Gaspé peninsula. It marks the end of the chain of the Appalachian mountains, which have their roots in the southern United-States. The scenery was modeled, millions of years ago, by the action of the waves combined with the power of erosion.

Its north shore rises and then drops away to the Gulf of St-Lawrence in spectacular sheer cliffs, home to thousands of seabirds; the south side, facing the Bay of Gaspé, slopes down to Bays with shingle beaches wich have seen generations of fishermen come and go.

Parc quebecois de l'leBonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Parce （鸟岛）
The provincial park of l'Ile-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé offers a breath taking view. More than 200,000 birds nest on the island, including a colony of Fous de Bassan; an ornithologists' dream.

Famous for its breathtaking scenery and its Rock, Perce has been attracting visitors for at least a century and a half. 

A true symbol of the whole Gaspe peninsula, this impressive fantasy of nature is still today a major highlight of worldwide tourism.
